Scope of supply and services
- I600 Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) Pallet Racking with total of 4,800 pallet locations
SSI SCHAEFER was commissioned to provide a material handling solution for FTIS’ high bay warehouse in Rayong, Thailand. To facilitate good stock rotation, 100% selectivity, and fast picking rate, Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) Pallet Racking system was installed with total of 1,600 pallet locations. The structure, with aisles marginally wider than the load, is built with high level of rigidity and accurate manufacturing tolerance. Pallets, cartons, rolls, and even flexible intermediate bulk container (FIBC) are well accommodated in the heavy duty VNA racking system.
The VNA Pallet Racking System installed has proven to be the most suitable storage solution for FTIS’ business because it has maximised the vertical and horizontal warehouse space. According to Alberto Hausmann, Supply Chain Manager of F.T. Industrial Supplies (Thailand), the system prepares their company for the next wave of growth in the near future.
