SSI Schaefer Philippines Shared Expertise with SM Investment Corporation

SSI Schaefer Philippines joined the Logistics Seminar held by SM Investment Corporation – Philippines’ leading player in retail industry on 18 - 19 August, 2009 at Taste Asia, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.

The seminar was organized for all the SM’s logistics managers and supervisors throughout the country, which emphasized the company’s commitment on continuously support of employees’ trainings. Altogether, there were over 40 employees from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao who participated in the seminar.

Mr. Zaldy Angeles, Sales Manager from SSI Schaefer Philippines gave speeches on warehouse safety, maintenance and seismic protection during the seminar. The focus of the seminar was on having the best warehousing practice whereby creating proper interface between handling and storage of equipments for smoother and safer warehouse operations was of high importance.

Aside from Schaefer, several other suppliers of SM known to be market leaders in their respective industries were also invited in the event.
